Cancellation Policy
At Trusty Handy, we want to ensure our booking process is clear, fair, and straightforward. Please read the policy below before confirming your appointment. 1. Booking Confirmation All appointments must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or email. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from the final bill. Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit or agreement has been received. 2. Service Hours Our services are available during both Normal Hours and Special Hours: Normal Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Special Hours: Monday to Friday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM Saturday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM 3. Payments All services are charged according to the time, complexity, and type of work carried out. Rates vary between Normal Hours and Special Hours. If additional materials or parts are required, these will be charged separately. Final payment is due upon completion of the service. 4. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may qualify for a refund or credit of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in loss of the deposit. Rescheduling is possible but subject to availability. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee. 5. Delays & Access Please ensure our engineer has safe and clear access to your property at the agreed time. If we are unable to carry out the work due to lack of access or unsafe conditions, the deposit may be forfeited. If our engineer is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified immediately, and a new time will be arranged. 6. Project Duration For small works, charges are based on hourly or half-day rates. For larger projects, we may provide a quotation for the complete job. If a project extends beyond Normal Hours, Special Hours rates may apply for additional time. 7. Customer Responsibilities Customers are responsible for providing accurate details about the work to be completed. Any restrictions, hazards, or special requirements must be communicated before the appointment. 8. Our Commitment We are committed to delivering all services with professionalism, safety, and care. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we will always do our best to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
